CBP Exam Study Guides

The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) has developed two versions of the Certified Builder Professional (CBP) Exam study guide. These study guides are designed to help you prepare for your upcoming certification exam. Use your guide to make notes, highlights, and concentrate your studies in your GENESIS® Construction School (C201 or C260) manual. There are 100 questions on the open-book CBP Exam, and you must pass with a 75% or better to become a Certified Builder Professional. You may not bring your study guide in with you for your exam.

Please ensure when you register for your CBP Exam that you select the correct exam version (C201 or C260).

Errata

PHTA has published a C260: Vinyl Liner/Fiberglass Pools Errata. This document includes supplemental or corrected information contained in the C260: Vinyl Liner/Fiberglass Pools Manual. This information should be inserted and stapled into the manual for the purpose of taking the CBP Exam.
