Pool & Hot Tub Safety

Overview

PHTA strongly supports pool and spa safety. As the only pool, spa, and hot tub standards writing organization accredited by The American National Standards Institute, the ANSI/APSP standards provide the scientific and technical basis for reasonable policies and regulations that balance consumer safety without undue burden on the industry. PHTA is committed to working with state and local governments and safety organizations to ensure that the regulations are consistent with the federal Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act, PHTA standards and codes, and best practices.
