How long have you been a member of PHTA?
Since PHTA inception, but I go back to the NSPI days.
Why did you join PHTA?
I think it’s important to be active and support your industry!
What committee/council/chapter do you currently volunteer with?
Manufacturers Agents Council
What do you enjoy most about volunteering?
Being an active part of something bigger than my business and inspiring others to be better.
What is your current occupation?
President, Mid America Sales, a Midwest Sales Agency.
What do you love most about the pool and hot tub industry?
The people!! Not to mention the recreation business is fun.
How do you define success?
Being better than yesterday.
Who inspires you?
Anyone who demonstrates resolve and persistence to overcome any challenge they face.
If you could choose anyone as a mentor, who would you choose? Why?
Richard Branson. Not sure if I would want him as mentor, but I would like to spend a couple weeks with him learning about his journey through life.
What’s one thing - either industry-related or not - you learned in the last month?
Nothing makes sense anymore.
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
Even though I’m a sales guy, I love to get dirty and sweat. That’s probably why I like to be on job sites.
