The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA), the trade association representing the swimming pool, hot tub, and spa industry, has released the results of its Quarterly Pulse Survey for Q4 2024, providing valuable insights into industry trends and performance benchmarks. This data is now available to survey participants through the PHTA Research Portal.
The Quarterly Pulse Survey tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) across various industry segments, offering businesses critical data to measure business performance against industry averages. By analyzing these benchmarks, companies can identify areas of strength and weakness, and make informed decisions to optimize their operations.
"Benchmarking is essential for businesses to stay competitive and thrive in today's dynamic market," says Jeff Henriksen, PHTA’s Vice President of Industry Affairs & Research. "The PHTA Research Portal provides a valuable tool for companies to evaluate their performance against their peers and competitors, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. We like to say, "The Power is in the Portal.""
The Q4 2024 Pulse Survey report covers key metrics such as company revenue, profit margin, revenue by type of jobs, employment data, maintenance and service calls, and revenue expectations over the next 12 months. Any builder, service professional, or retailer in the industry can participate in PHTA surveys, and participants then receive free access to the data. Only those who participate in the surveys can access the data in the Research Portal, enabling participants to use interactive dashboards and visualizations.
