(Alexandria, Va.) - GENESIS®, a company of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA), has announced its lineup of virtual course offerings through May 2021. These courses lay the foundation for successful and inspirational pool design and construction and help pool designers and builders elevate their craft to the next level.
GENESIS® and PHTA are accredited Authorized Providers by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). All GENESIS® courses give students the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Several of the courses are also requirements for those who would like to become GENESIS® Associates or Society of Watershape Designers (SWD) Registered.
Registration is now open for the following:
GENESIS® is adapting its courses for a virtual setting to ensure students are still receiving the comprehensive and complete education that was previously offered in person. Being virtual also makes the courses more accessible to a wider audience.
“The online class was great. They usually opened up the Zoom session 30 minutes before class to answer questions, which was helpful,” said Hunter Hayden, manager of construction for Hayden Pool Service in Dallas, Texas, who took the virtual C201 course when it was offered last year. “The knowledge [the instructors] provided was so valuable. Now I’m planning to take all of the GENESIS® classes!”
“We understand our members are busy, which is why our virtual trainings are perfect,” said Jeanne Mendelson, PHTA Vice President of Education and Events. “The GENESIS® virtual trainings are unlike any education you’ll receive in the industry – you’ll learn the skills and talk to renowned experts, all from your home or office.”
