(Alexandria, Va.) - This week, the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) is hosting the first GENESIS® virtual course of the year. C201: GENESIS® CONSTRUCTION SCHOOL: Concrete Pools has a record number of students. 37 students will be participating in this week’s course.
C201 is the pool industry's flagship construction program. It follows modules that all industry professionals need to learn and covers all phases of pool construction, from the basics of pool plumbing to structural engineering and pool finish materials. The course concludes with an interactive walkthrough of a complex project from start to finish.
Students learn from GENESIS® faculty who are experts in their field. This week, C201 is being taught by six instructors with over 100 years of combined industry experience:
In this virtual setting, C201 is a four-night program with four hours of class per night. GENESIS® and PHTA are accredited Authorized Providers by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Completing C201 will earn students 1.6 IACET CEUs.
“C201 is the backbone of our system," says Lisa Ryckeley, Director of GENESIS® Operations at PHTA. "This is where students should start if they want to build a sound structure. They leave our class with a strong insight to build a better vessel."
