The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance is proud to announce that Michael Lasher, IOM, is joining PHTA as Director of the California Pool and Spa Association. His first day will be December 1, 2020.

The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance is proud to be leading education for pool operators by offering an online Certified Pool Operator program. This program, which launched earlier this year, allows pool professionals to safely receive certification from the comfort of their home or office.

The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance is inviting public review and comments on the revision of ANSI/APSP/ICC-7 2013 American National Standard for Suction Entrapment Avoidance In Swimming Pools, Wading Pools, Spas, Hot Tubs, and Catch Basins. Public review is an important part of the ANSI standards consensus development process.

The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) announced today that it has expanded its interest categories and is currently seeking User-Consumer interest category participants to serve on the Standards Consensus Committee (SCC) official consensus voting body.
