Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

PHTA is an Authorized Provider of International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) continuing education units (CEUs). IACET CEUs are recognized internationally for professionals who need them for their job responsibilities such as environmental health officials and teachers. In addition to being an IACET CEU provider, PHTA courses have also been approved for CEUs by many other agencies and organizations.

What is a CEU? (also called Continuing Education Credits or a CECs)

CEU stands for Continuing Educational Unit and is a unit of measure of educational training for certain occupations

What is the Value of a CEU?

Occupations require CEU’s in order to maintain professional licensure within the occupation or state

How to Obtain Your CEUs

Upon completion of a PHTA course, the student will receive an email with an online link to fill out a personalized evaluation specific to their completed course

Student requirements may include:

1. Filling out an evaluation
2. Filling out an evaluation and filing paperwork with their organization
3. Filling out an evaluation and contacting PHTA within 30 days
