Digital badges have emerged as the newest technology for displaying details of the certification on social media, emails, and resumes and serves as an method of validation of accomplishment or skill against an established standard that can be displayed, accessed, and verified online. Badges communicate details of the certification to anyone wishing to verify it, or learn more about the context of the achievement it signifies. Additionally, some or all of this information will be displayed in a visual format wherever the badge is displayed, and it can be verified any time – even if you only have the image. They protect the integrity of your credential by providing a link to the verified data from PHTA that cannot be falsified.
